Making A Purchase
Just browse our Catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
When we have received your order we will send you an email acknowledging receipt. Cotton Patch Club offers and discounts are not valid on scissors-shop.co.uk orders.
We accept the following credit/debit cards - VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, VISA Debit and Electron. If you are shopping from anywhere other than the UK your credit card company should convert the transaction to your own currency at the prevailing rate at the time of the transaction.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped unless they are under £10 in value and due into stock within 28 days.
Shipping And Handling
Postage and packing charges apply to all items purchased using the electronic shopping basket facility.
Postage and packing charges within the UK are shown in relation to the cost of the ordered items. To see a breakdown on the postage charges for the UK click on the Postage Rates button.
At the present time we do not ship to Overseas destinations.
We will normally send your order to you within three business days. At peak times this may extend to over seven business days. Our orders are normally dispatched by second class post.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be informed with your order of any backordered items.
You have the option to cancel your backorder if you would rather not wait.
All our prices are shown inclusive of VAT.
If you are ordering from outside the European Union or from any of the following countries, VAT will not be charged: Jersey, Guernsey, Norway, Switzerland, Gibraltar and Canary Islands.

All credit cards are processed by using Actinic Payments, which meets the highest level of card security in the UK. We do not see your card details at any time.
If you are in the main shopping area
Use the "View Basket" button at the top of the screen. Your shopping list will be displayed. On the right-hand side of each product is a Tick Box called "Remove". Click in the box so that a tick appears. Then click on "Update" on the options below the shopping list. The shopping list should redisplay with the item removed from the list.
If you cannot see the View Basket button at the top of the screen, then you are in the Checkout section. To remove an item press the Cancel Button first and then follow the instructions above.

You can return an item to us that you are not satisfied with provided it is in a saleable condition. Items must be returned in the original packaging within seven working days of receipt of the goods. We will issue a full refund. Postage and packaging charges are not refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
